Intercept is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat progressive non-viral liver diseases.

Responsibilities
This Territory Business Manager opportunity is a direct hire position with Intercept. The selected professional will be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will:
  • Maximize new business opportunities with physicians and other health service providers
  • Present therapeutic products and creatively teach people about their usage
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient
  • Build trust and credibility and become a true collaborator in commercial success
Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree Required
  • 7+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Rare Disease/Orphan Drug experience required
  • Experience in GI and/or Hepatology highly preferred
  • Strong Account Management experience required
  • Must have a strong understanding of Hospital Accounts and Market Access
  • Account based selling experience a strong preference
  • Should have a hunter mentality and demonstrate the ability to conduct a total office call
  • Consistently demonstrates initiative, self-motivated with strong performance orientation; expert selling skills including customer engagement & relationship building success; ability to learn quickly and apply disease state and product knowledge; organizational skills; strong communication and listening skills; ability to work independently and as a team member; advanced business acumen skills.
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
