The INC Research/inVentiv Health Learning Solution Sales Training Leader (STL) serves as the primary training contact/liaison between the INC Research/inVentiv Health Client and INC Research/inVentiv Health. The STL is an integral component of all Client discussions in regard to the development of short- and long-range training plans. This includes developing training concepts, objectives, programs, and descriptions, as well as sequencing and execution. The STL is primarily responsible for the successful development, delivery, execution, and management of all of the Client s training-related needs. The STL is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills. As a partner to sales management, should be highly competent on aspects of sales leadership and application of selling skills in complex customer environments.

Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all of the following)
Liaison Responsibilities
  • Serves as primary interface between Field Sales Leadership, and INC Research/inVentiv Health Learning Solutions
  • Supports Field Sales and Field Sales Management Team by leading efforts around national sales meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other training interventions
  • Conducts field rides with Field Sales Team to provide coaching on product, marketplace, selling skills, and other topics
  • Works with Field Sales Management Team to provide coaching on managerial effectiveness and other topics
  • Interface with Client Marketing and Managed Markets teams to help identify, build and deliver relevant training to Field Sales Teams
Design Responsibilities
  • Conducts ongoing training needs analyses
  • Creates and maintains a workable Training Plan to determine the goals, strategies, and tactics to be implemented to achieve client satisfaction
  • Develops training concepts and associated objectives, descriptions, and sequencing for all training efforts
  • Works with Field Sales Leadership and Field Sales Management to determine specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities
  • Works with Field Sales Leadership and HR to design custom Field Coaching Report outlines if requested
Development Responsibilities
  • Oversees or develops content for all forms of training delivery (e.g., distance learning, e-modules, e-zines, and live training)
  • Nurtures the training concepts throughout their evolution to ensure alignment with the strategic intent of the overall brand objectives
  • Engages with designated Field Sales Team and Client HQ Member throughout the entirety of development process
  • Oversees or develops (as needed) live training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance, printing guides, and facilities requirements
  • If needed, conducts leader or facilitator training for all developed content and provides support for delivery as requested
  • Ensures that all training is designed using the best, most effective and efficient instructional design strategies and is delivered with the most effective and efficient modalities
  • Manages live training intellectual property and leverages existing assets appropriately to improve project efficiency
  • Leverages and maintains (as needed) INC Research/inVentiv role-specific training programs/curricula
Delivery Responsibilities
  • Oversees implementation of or delivers all training programs, including new-hire backfill training, advanced training, NSMs, and POAs virtual training
  • Manages classroom environment in a manner that allows representatives to meet learning objectives
  • Coordinates INC Research/inVentiv Health home-study materials and schedule
  • Manages INC Research/inVentiv Health content on the Learning Management System
  • Coaches representatives during training classes and in evening sessions
  • Evaluates the competency levels of training class participants and provides timely evaluations and feedback
  • Works with sales management to formulate a representative development plan
  • Manages and implements training-related communication plan
  • 4-year college degree
  • MBA or masters in instructional design preferred
  • ENT, Allergy and/or Respiratory experience a plus
  • Bio-pharma training experience, Facilitation Skills, PowerPoint/Writing skills
  • Pharma sales and sales management experience preferred
  • Background in consulting, instructional design preferred
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver s license to drive to assignments, unless otherwise specified
