Primary Duties

  • Responsible for quality support and oversight of manufacturing operations
  • Perform Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) sampling of finished product
  • Pre-printed label copy control, product nonconformance resolution, sample management, documentation review and approval, and other quality department functions.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification and experience preferred.
  • Sitting, standing, walking and lifting up to 35 lbs. Pushing, pulling and stretching may be required occasionally.
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Demonstrate the Takeda Leadership Behaviors; be positive, accountable, and be an excellent manager of self and others.

Working Hours

  • Must be able to work 12 hours shifts (1800-630). 2-2-3 work schedule.

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability work in a team environment and make independent decisions based on procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Adaptive communication and presentation skills to effectively reach different levels, including senior management.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)


  • Excellent interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills.
  • Acts as a change agent to sufficiently motivate team members to achieve team goals.

Complexity and Problem Solving

  • Must be able to deal with ambiguity and make decisions under stressful conditions. Ability to understand complex problems and anticipate consequences of actions/decisions made.
  • Must be able to work in controlled/classified environments requiring special gowning.
  • Required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
  • Deals with plasma finished products; transfer of intermediates and products between sites/countries.
