The Round Lake Takeda Plant is a 24 / 7 facility. This position will be working 12 hour shifts of 5:00am - 5:30pm in a 2-2-3 configuration. Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days.

  • Assist supervisor in organizing, scheduling and directing other team members.
  • Main interface with other departments to resolve issues related to equipment, process, compliance, including maintenance, metrology, and validation.
  • Involved in hands-on execution of manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of process documentation.
  • Review documentation.
  • Resolve issues related to equipment, process and compliance.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem response as needed.
  • Investigate any process problems in a timely manner and provide documentation of actions taken to address.
  • Participate on cross-functional Continuous Improvement Teams and may serve in a leadership role.
  • Train and mentor other team members and monitor training for newer team members.
  • Assist with process/equipment validation and data analysis
  • Assign other project work and/or involvement in teams to team members.
  • Initiate and execute level 1 and level 2 deviations, including root cause investigations, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks.
  • Perform Manufacturing SOP periodic reviews as needed, and initiate/execute document change requests as needed, in support of manufacturing.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requires Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience or AA degree with minimum of 7 years of related work experience. With demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles. Engineering or Scientific degree preferred.
