PRIMARY DUTIES The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing payments to vendors, employees or Intercompany affiliates. This role is also in charge of reviewing tax and withholding calculations, booking General Ledger adjustments when required (JEs, JRs); performing bank reconciliations, besides activities for Month End Close for Shared Service Center Americas group. RESPONSABILITIES Process payments, request bank approvals for all the disbursements processed, review and follow up payment rejections in a weekly basis Reconcile bank & VIP vendors accounts & Cash Flow Analysis Assist Supervisor/Manager with special projects as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 plus years experience in Accounts Payable or Tax/Fiscal areas for Latin America strongly preferred. Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration required CPA/CMA or MBA preferred. Experience in Latin America operations preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese required KEY SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel Working knowledge of MS Word, Power Point and Outlook. Experience with payments processing in JD Edwards and/or SAP preferred. Process Latin America Federal taxes payments and other taxes related to imports when required Ensure all payments provided are complying with SLA s. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Comply with all SOX requirements. Requires strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, scheduling and meeting deadlines A demonstrated customer service focus will be another critical success factor for this position. This is a service organization and that will require the highest commitment to understanding customer needs and meeting/exceeding their expectations. Must ensure all communications and interactions are professional and courteous.
