We are looking for an enthusiastic PK/PD modeling summer intern to join DMPK department in Takeda Oncology in Cambridge. The intern will work closely with oncology drug discovery scientists and lean the techniques of applying quantitative analysis to oncology drug discovery and development.
Primary responsibilities include: Performing non-compartmental pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics analyses, Aid in the design, execution, and interpretation of in vitro and in vivo pharmacology and toxicology studies. Integrate literature data on immune oncology drugs to establish mechanistic PK/PD model to assist platform drug development
Education and skills requirements: Applicants should be highly motivated and have strong interests in immunology and oncology drug discovery. Applicants must be pursuing a Doctoral or PharmD degree and have completed at least their second-year graduate school education. Applicants with strong quantitative PK/PD modeling skill and familiar with modeling software, such as Winnonlin, ADAPT, NONMEM, MATLAB, is preferred. Applicant also requires good verbal and written communication skills
