The Regional Manager represents Takeda Oncology and implements the strategies that will result in the achievement of short and long term product and company objectives. The Regional Manager will be recognized by customers, peers and managers as having expert knowledge of customers, oncology, NINLARO, ICLUSIG, VELCADE, and competitive products in the multiple myeloma and CML hematology space.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Plan, lead, organize and develop activities within region in order to achieve all launch, sales and company objectives. Positive fiscal management of assigned region. Analysis of sales results. Develop and implement business plans. Execute strategies in the Marketing Plan. Select, train, develop and evaluate the area Sales Representatives. Work with Area Director and Vice President, Sales on succession planning. Assume national project responsibilities as assigned by Area Director. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
5+ years oncology (therapeutic) sales management experience preferred.
Candidates must live within the geography
Proven sales success. Proven initiative, leadership and management skills. Excellent business acumen. Knowledge of specific region. Ability to quickly assimilate complex information such as oncology markets and competitive products. Ability to work independently and in teams.
The role of Regional Manager requires the ability to travel as needed for the job, including overnight travel up to 50%.
