Here, everyone matters and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As an Area Business Leader working on the Primary Care Sales team, you will be empowered to maximize the success, by supporting a Sales Area s business initiatives and direction. A typical day will include:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Partner with internal planning teams, Commercial Operations and Sales Leadership to plan and implement strategy driven meetings to continue to focus on the transformation of sales
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure resources are provided and appropriate to enhance and support market develop opportunities
  • Partner with the Analytics and Insights team to ensure data is reflective of the market and supports market development opportunities. Works with Sales Leaders to translate the data into actionable plans with defined business outcomes.
  • Partners with Commercial Operations, specifically Sales Training, IC, Alignments, and SFA to ensure programs support the development and opportunities associated with the Sales Area
  • Works with other Area ABLs to share best practices and learning s from specific sales area
  • Works with sales area to gather field intelligence relative to the market and competition and translates where appropriate to action or non-starter situations.
  • Partner with sales leadership around oversight and project management related to Area wide initiatives
  • Collaborate and partner with Area RAMs to ensure appropriate pull through plans and accountabilities are in place
  • Work with ASD and Communications Team to ensure appropriate communications are disseminated to the sales team
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Required
  • Bachelor s degree
  • 10 years minimum in pharmaceutical sales or marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership capability
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key managed market terms and national initiatives i.e. Affordable Care Act
  • Demonstrated success around creating initiatives/programs, developing plans and executing plans
  • Knowledge of key pharma systems and processes i.e. Incentive Comp plans, CRM, Sample Accountability
Preferred
  • Other experience such as Managed Markets, Marketing, Commercial Operations
  • Advanced degree

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Role is field based
  • Up to 50% travel required throughout sales area and to Takeda home office
