As a working on the Global Commercial team, you will be empowered to ensure the mission success of a new product launch: Entyvio Subcutaneous; from positioning, researching payer and patient needs, prescribers, and a launch of the sub-q product for Takeda s key brand, and a typical day will include:
Interfacing role between the Global Commercial Entyvio team and the Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Development teams.
Partnering with internal teams to develop the optimal execution of a patient focused life-cycle management (LCM) strategy
Responsible for leading commercial workstreams that will establish the strategic direction of Entyvio, partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Sciences/Development, and the Global Program Team (GPT).
Assess and anticipate current and future competitive trends, and brand performance on a global and regional level.
Play an important role in setting the strategy for achieving that long term vision.
Drive succeess in every region including the; United States, Europe & Canada, Japan, and Emerging Markets.
Works cross-functionally to achieve alignment with the global asset and brand strategy and related regional components.
Key Global Commercial leadership role, interfacing between the Global Commercial Entyvio team and the Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Development teams
Partner with the Entyvio Medical Working Group to help guide that team to deliver on mission-critical R&D projects including
Conduct international commercial assessment of the scientific requirements to grow the brand to achieve key goals in terms of patient value, forecasts and scientific advancement.
Anticipate, monitor, assess and act on competitive developments consulting with Entyvio global, regional and local commercial partners as well as R&D personnel to deploy appropriate activities.
Optimize patient value and compete with future IBD market entrants (biosimilars, oral agents, additional anti-integrin agents etc) by partnering with clinical development team and medical affairs to design relevant, insightful and impactful Phase IV trial program that addresses important scientific questions about the molecule.
Align global, regional and local scientific development program plans with regional and global commercial strategies and optimize the overall global market value of the brand.
Facilitate regional commercial input into clinical development process.
Bachelors Degree, ideally in economics, business administration or similar
At least years 8 experience with increasing responsibilities in commercially-focused function
Experience in a regional or global headquarters setting
Pharmaceutical product launch experience
Biopharma in a complex molecule & experience with drug-device combinations
Advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD, MBA) focused on business administration or scientific field
Experience launching and marketing specialty biologic products is a plus.
International and some domestic travel may be required (20-30%)
