As a Head of Global Records and Information Management working on the Global General Counsel team, you will be empowered to develop and implement the Global Records and Information Management program and create uniform records management policies and practices across Takeda. A typical day will include:
Developing the global business strategy to establish and implement a Records and Information Management ( RIM ) program, including:
(policies and procedures dealing with issues of record creation, classification, ownership, security, retention, preservation and disposition) to support Takeda s legal, compliance and operational needs for records.
Working with other key stakeholders to influence change management (e.g., R&D, Commercial, Vaccines, Quality, Audit, and Compliance) to implement the RIM program.
Leading and managing the Interface with departments, functions, regional champions, and global sites to incorporate RIM considerations into their processes.
Establishing monitoring and metrics to promote accountability and evaluate effectiveness of the RIM program.
Assess current program, and develop the strategy, policies and procedures to establish and implement a Global RIM program.
Direct and oversee the design and implementation of processes and programs that support accurate and efficient records management operations by working with HR, functions, and locations to identify and implement creative solutions for use of staffing approaches.
Represent Takeda as Global leader for RIM programs, and maintain accountability to manage budget and spending for RIM department.
Implement and maintain appropriate technology to facilitate records management and ensure maximum business benefits.
Ensure global leadership and management is appropriately informed of RIM-related new information, impact assessment and issues related to specific business units.
Develop, support, and sustain applicable RIM training.
Maintain an expert, current knowledge of regulations, legislation, standards and guidelines relating to international record management.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Bachelor s degree required, and advanced degree a plus
Minimum of five years of experience in strategic leadership in a professional services organization that includes a progression of responsible business positions
Minimum 10 years of increasing responsibility in information / document / records management
CRM (Certified Records Manager) a plus
25%, some global travel required
