Here, everyone matters and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As a Business Unit Director working with the Primary Care team, you will be empowered to Design, develop & implement a business wide strategy & identify growth drivers and foundation needed to deliver business strategic intent and to lead and ensure the realization of the key business priorities and targets year on year, while building a sustainable business model through operational management excellence for future. A typical day will include:
Act as a leader to develop and roll out sales and business development strategy in the sub-cluster through following activities :-
Define Strategy and related strategic projects to support business needs and future sustainability based on market dynamics with tailored approaches
Business planning, implementation and regular reviews
Plan and ensure availability of adequate resources (people, technology, financial, products , processes etc.) to deliver business objectives seamlessly
Provide guidance in development of innovative business solutions
Personally intervene and resolve complex / sensitive business and individual issues
Identify potential business risks and pro-actively build right solutions to mitigate them.
Monitor and review impact of strategic projects, policies and marketing programs; identifies opportunities for improvement through continuous alignment with NEMEA strategies
Regularly reviews performance of the business and ensure adherence with defined strategies policies and procedures
Deliver revenue and profit targets as signed off in country business plan.
Lead the successful launch of new brands as per country business plan.
Identify new areas for growth and development for improving revenues and profits in the country.
Commercialize new business opportunities with the support of cluster functions ahead of competition.
Ensure consistent and continuous market share growth through key sales & marketing strategies within the existing portfolio
Develop optimal customer segmentation processes along with optimum sales force set up and effectiveness
Consistently improve Customer experience
Ensure that business is meeting desired compliance levels set under Group and country policies
Ensure continuous development of direct reports and build successors for key and critical roles
Establish and regularly review individual performance and developmental expectations with all direct reports.
Consistently improve engagement scores in the country
Hire and retain desired talent through an effective development and engagement
Foster a culture of knowledge building and sharing across the business
10+ years of total experience
3-5 years of solid sales and marketing experience in a medium to large size reputable pharmaceutical multinational organisation
Excellent in-depth knowledge of key business functions such as Marketing, Sales, Medical, etc.
In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry within the region
