The purpose of this position is to support the R&D Compliance program for the Takeda s Global R&D organization. The Sr. R&D Compliance Analyst will be a member of the Global R&D Compliance Department and have responsibilities for the following:

Transparency Reporting: be the primary contact for collecting transfers of value required by the U.S. Sunshine Act from internal and external R&D clients.

Compliance Monitoring: carry out office and field (as necessary) monitoring activities sponsored by the R&D organization using the Global Monitoring Toolkit and assist business groups with understanding and implementing corrective action plans to address monitoring findings.

Other: Help embed elements of an effective compliance program throughout the R&D organization, assist with certain aspects of the EFPIA Disclosure Code compliance, and take on other responsibilities as needed.


This position will assist Takeda s Global R&D Compliance department with the following:
  • Providing guidance to Takeda employees, contractors and external vendors on interpretation of the U.S. Sunshine Act.
  • Ensuring all relevant interactions between the Global R&D Organization and Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Entities are timely and accurately captured in Takeda s Transparency Reporting systems.
  • Resolving data errors associated with Transparency Reporting entries in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in resolving inquiries and disputes related to Transparency Reporting.
  • Providing ongoing Transparency Reporting training to R&D clients using various delivery approaches (e.g., WebEx, face to face, group training).
  • Conducting compliance monitoring of R&D activities using the Global Monitoring Toolkit against established policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Identifying and analyzing trends and assisting in consolidating and reporting the results.
  • Helping design corrective action plans to remediate monitoring findings and ensure policy and procedure enhancements are properly developed and implemented.



  • Bachelor s Degree required
  • Minimum four years of general business experience in large companies
  • Experience in Healthcare Compliance (e.g., Sunshine/EFPIA reporting, Compliance Monitoring) or Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Computer proficiency and an ability to utilize MS Office software (e.g., MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) required
  • Must be a self-starter with commitment to personal self-development and possess a strong ability to navigate and master new systems and processes
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills required: must take initiative and be proactive, inquisitive, and have a strong track record of problem solving
  • Must be able to coordinate and execute activities from start to finish and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills and strong ability to handle multiple projects while successfully meeting deadlines
  • Effective oral and written communications skills in individual and group settings required, along with proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues
  • Shall demonstrate high ethical standards, unquestionable integrity, discretion and professionalism


  • Travel of 20-25% may be required mainly between Deerfield and Boston, with occasional international travel.
