We are looking for a strong candidate for the position of Manager, Operational Excellence. The incumbent has the mandate to enhance and expand Takeda s evidence-based decision making ability. The individual has the responsibility to drive and measure the adoption of available tools, methods and insights for operational excellence within Takeda Canada, and will lead and manage the communication, implementation and training of the Takeda customer engagement model. The customer engagement model encompasses the successful implementation and management of the customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence (BI) tools as well as the implementation and measurement of the supporting team capabilities and behaviours. The incumbent is also responsible for the design, development and implementation of sales force effectiveness (SFE) initiatives and for the development and maintenance of Takeda s sales operations processes and reporting. The individual acts to interpret the SFE analytics to inform management and key stakeholders on the evolution of the customer model, and will play a key role in the acquisition, maintenance and mining of data assets. The incumbent is to show a high degree of leadership in promoting an analytically driven approach to evidence-based decision making.

Accountabilities

Collaborates with team members from operational excellence, sales, marketing and market access to ensure understanding, actions and actions are implemented based on analytical insights
Manages the strategic development and execution of the CRM and BI platforms
Collaborates with local and regional partners to deploy platform enhancements
Works with partners to develop user requirements and conduct user acceptance testing
Develops, deploys and maintains training material to support capability development for platform users
Works with leadership to develop and deploy reporting systems and dashboards to management and sales teams to facilitate measurement and tracking of brand and company performance
Provides feedback to management and sales leadership on platform user adoption
Leads the proactive development and deployment of sales force effectiveness initiatives including territory design, sales force sizing, incentive compensation, segmentation, sales reporting and analytics and ROI analyses
Drives the accountability of Takeda team members to reach SFE and customer engagement objectives
Responsible for the acquisition, management and quality of data
Effectively integrate data from multiple sources to enable accurate, reliable and timely analytics
Supports data warehouse administrator Acts as secondary support to data warehouse administrator providing support for testing, monitoring, managing, validating (including extracting, transformation, loading, cleansing)
Supports other Operational Excellence team members by acting an analytical thought leader and maintains an analytics calendar for the company
Manages vendors and consultants and project budgets

QualificationsExperience

5+ years system development, project management or business process design experience
5+ years experience within sales, operations/sales operations areas of the pharmaceutical/medical products industry
Work experience in highly dynamic, fast-moving environment
Prior people management experience an asset
University degree, preferred science, information technology or MBA

Capabilities

Strong expertise in CRM and BI platforms
Proven, deep experience in SFE
Including territory design, sales force sizing, incentive compensation, segmentation, sales reporting and analytics and ROI analyses
Knowledge of various methodologies, approaches and data sources
Ability to effectively summarize and communicate
Maintenance of a SFE calendar by business unit
Excellent Excel knowledge with advanced skill in SAS or other statistical programming preferred
Proficiency in pharmaceutical data sources
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Project Management and facilitation skills
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel required. Travel estimated at 10-20%.
