  • Owns the local relationship between business leadership and IT.
  • Leads productive and ongoing exchanges of information between the assigned location, IT service delivery and demand management.
  • Implements the global IT strategy aligned with the regional business requirements, needed agility and in accordance to global IS/IT procedures & standards.
  • Consolidates and owns the local IT project portfolio (demand management) considering top down programs and initiatives as well as bottom up projects and requirements.
  • Controls personnel and respective local business partner IT-budget effectively and efficiently, ensuring operational continuity and IT objectives are met.


  • Develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships with IT leaders across the global IS/IT organization.
  • Communicates to the business the global IT strategy for projects and operational plans that impact their Site.
  • Provides input to Area IT budget and monitors local expenses.
  • Develops, manages, and maintains organizational structure within the group. Contributes analytical input to help define organizational structure within cost center and/or department.
  • Communicates issues and successes up and down the group.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers and vendors. Provide immediate dedicated hands on support for Manufacturing, Automation and Engineering Process Control systems
  • Provide business and/or technology consulting support to business system owners
  • Serve as the IT Technical Owner for Manufacturing, Automation and Engineering Process Control systems which support the Brooklyn Park MFG Plant. Specify operation requirements with service providers and test and deploy new services
  • Escalate issues to the global IT organization in support of business clients.
  • Develop standards and work instructions that support those standards.
  • Verify IT service delivery of the service providers
  • Serve as site IT Subject Matter Expert for assigned services and applications
  • Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring and continuous improvement of the activities for Manufacturing, Automation and Engineering Process Control systems
  • Ensure full systems compliance with all GMP requirements
  • Support the implementation of IT programs in Brooklyn Park and ensure projects and/or activities follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards
  • Design and implement key performance metrics in order to improve functional efficiency within the area of responsibility


  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education.
  • 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Relationship management and the ability to influence skills and engage colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to set priorities, align stakeholder expectations, and develop and execute an associated plan of action.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Work with virtual teams located in different countries around the world, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles.
  • Team player with strong experience leading and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Ability to speak the local language(s).
  • Experience with application management.
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment and with GMP regulations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work with IT and business in understanding and providing IT solutions based on business needs.
  • Understanding of SDLC, systems validation and IT service management.
  • Experience supporting Manufacturing, Automation and Engineering Process Control systems
  • Pharmaceutical or medical devices manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience working with outsourced partners and vendor management
  • Experience in conducting change impact analysis
  • Experience managing to service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • Experience supporting and administering various technology platforms (Networks, Storage, Virtual Servers, Backups, SharePoint, etc.)

Access to transportation to attend meetings.

Ability to occasionally travel to meetings in the Area.
