OBJECTIVES:
Takeda's summer internship program blends real world experience with an extensive overview of the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledgeable mentors will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience.
The summer internship program is 12 weeks in length and offers a unique perspective into a world-class pharmaceutical company. Compensation is competitive, and financed temporary housing is available to those who qualify. Our internship program also provides you the opportunity to network with people at Takeda through various planned events and activities.
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Compensation CoE for regular compensation activities, special projects, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Assist with compensation planning activities, including but not limited to processing paperwork for changes in Workday, monitoring the Ask Compensation mailbox, and printing and sending compensation statements.
  • Assist with post-compensation planning analyses.
  • Assist with daily processes including job code requests, offer buyout calculations, posting job descriptions, equity analyses, and other compensation activities.
  • Assist with documentation of compensation team processes and policies through interviews of process leaders and documenting process.
  • Participate in Compensation meetings, calls, and activities.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship.
  • Minimum requirements are a HS diploma, with concurrent enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Computer literate; experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Previous office experience a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
May work on the computer for several hours at a time.
