A global leading Biotechnology company is looking for a Lead Engineer or Director of Process Engineering to be the go-to contact for Clean in place, Steam in place, process, and project engineering activities to aid in the analysis and come up with innovative technical solutions.  With its recent acquisitions, the company is looking for the best in the business to join their exciting, innovative culture and to help take their business to another level. The Engineer Lead/Director of Process Engineering will have the following responsibilities:

 


He/she will be responsible for leading the day to day production of various activities within the department including but not limited to technical leadership, mammalian process operations, and working hand in hand with the sites manufacturing teams. The selected individual will report directly into the Head of Engineering and will play a pivotal part in the company’s plans for new engineering activities and processes.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
  • 20+ years experience in GMP regulated environment
  • Extensive experience with Mammalian cell culture
  • MS Degree in Engineering
  • Project Management experience
