To provide bioinformatics and systems biology expertise in the analysis of large-scale profiling data sets in an effort to advance biological insights and identify relevant biomarkers associated with metabolic diseases.
Reports to the head of the Discovery Biology Department. Internal relationships include supervising research employees, leading project teams, working with project managers, as well as colleagues in Diabetes & Obesity Research in, Novo Nordisk Inc., Novo Nordisk A/S, and Novo Nordisk Beijing. External relationships include relevant parts of the obesity research community, including key opinion leaders. May serve as the company spokesperson for advanced programs or initiatives. Builds strong collaborations between internal and external stakeholders.
Approximately 10% overnight travel.
