Title Project Manager 2 - Equipment Work Package

Job Description Position Purpose: To own the work package for the assembly & packaging equipment for Line 56. This position will work alongside DMD project group & in close collaboration with equipment vendors to manage schedule, change orders & installation/validation.

Accountabilities:
* Responsible for building detailed schedules for the SEMA equipment.
* Responsible for direct communication & management of equipment vendors to ensure equipment is delivered per URS, schedule & cost (per contract).
* Responsible for all change orders associated with the equipment.
* Responsible for ensuring project plan accomplishes time, quality, impact & cost objectives.
* Responsible for monitoring & reporting project progress within the project team & to steering group.
* Responsible for communications to management & other stakeholders.
* Other accountabilities as assigned.

Education:
BA/BS degree in engineering, business, related technical field or 7-10 years of project/change management experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing or business environment.

Experience: Mandatory
* 5-10 years proven project/change management skills in a manufacturing facility.
* 2-5 years capital project management within manufacturing facility including investment management.

Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
* Ability to work in both technical & non-technical areas.
* Knowledge of assembly & packaging systems & processes.
* Knowledgeable in GMP concepts.
* Understanding of product documentation & standard operating procedures.
* Ability to create & manage work plans & detailed project schedules.
* Demonstrated team leadership, collaboration & project management ability.
* Lean training (Black belt or Green belt certification/training).

Organization/Planning: Proven expertise in planning/organizing, managing execution & revising the work plan for cross functional project teams. Meets objectives demonstrating strong change management skills.

Physical & Other Requirements:
* Minimal lifting required.
* Requires ability to move throughout the facility in the performance of duties in proximity of process equipment & areas.
* Ability to work hours necessary to support production and/or maintenance activities.
* Ability to travel internationally (up to 30% may be required).
