Job Summary:

The Department of Biology at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a full-time, term (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2018. This position seeks candidates from the field of Neurobiology.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach General Biology, Neurobiology, and other foundational or upper division courses related to the candidate’s areas of expertise. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in service to the department and college. Additional teaching responsibilities may replace service expectations during the first two years.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in Biology or a related field by August 2018. A strong record of teaching at the university level and an understanding of and commitment to support the mission of the University of San Francisco are required.
