Job 1 - Scientist

Fort Worth, TX

  • This individual will perform chemical and physical tests on contact lenses and Intraocular lenses in a regulated environment using good documentation practices.

  • Tests performed/systems operated will include HPLC, GC, IR, UV, pH, osmolality, water content contact angle, metrology measurements, and package condition.

  • Good communication skills are a must.

  • Ability to work with a large group and multitask.

  • Ability to use word, excel and outlook.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Data integrity checks of technical reports to ensure accuracy of data transfer will also be required.


Job – 2 Quality Assurance Analyst

Fort Worth, TX

Summary

Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision and recommends corrective action where necessary. Applies existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modification for improved efficiency, or devises and develops new analytical methods and techniques. They may also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology from R&D. Performs qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation. Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions and contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group. This position requires you to be on your feet and walking for most of the shift.

3rd shift: Work Sunday – Thursday 10:30PM - 7:00AM

Skills:

  • One (1) year applicable experience in the pharmaceutical field or related industry. Demonstrated excellent written/verbal/interpersonal/communication and ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Experience with laboratory requirements and equipment.

  • Good computer skills

  • Good time management & communication skills

  • This position is very active, on their feet majority of the day.

Education:

BS in Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy) or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)

Job 3 - Medical Device Safety Expert

Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the establishment of a complete list of Device products

  • Review product listings and provide medical/scientific input to define product hierarchy

  • Conduct data search on assigned products from literature, technical documents, and other sources

  • Evaluate safety information and support safety team deliverables

  • Ensure timely communication of identified issues and potential impact to project team

  • Collaborate productively with project team and external stakeholders to resolve identified issues

Skills:

  • Clinical and technical expertise in ophthalmic medical devices

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently and meet targeted timelines

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Attention to detail, strategic thinking and problem solving skills

  • Experience in preparing or contributing to regulatory reports/submissions involving safety information

Education:

Master of Science or health-related discipline is required
