CRO travel policies fpr CRAs?

Hello,
I enjoy everything about my current CRA job except I find the current travel policy to be highly restrictive in that we have to fly back to our home of origin every weekend and can't stay the weekend somewhere we don't live (even if we pay for it ourselves) without jumping through massive hoops. This really defeats the point of accumulating hotel points if we can't even use it on the weekends. Who wants to use points to stay at home? This is making me question if this is becoming common and is it becoming the new standard with all CRA jobs? or is it just the place I work for now? The previous CRO I worked for let us stay anywhere we wanted on the weekend. They paid for one travel leg there and back and we weren't forced to fly back to our home of origin. Anyone else have this restriction? What CROs let their CRAs fly anywhere on the weekend (without having to jump through tons of hoops and not be such a big problem)?
